We are very sad to say that after being generously housed by the City of London Corporation in Warren Lodge for the last 48 years we will be leaving on 1st April 2026.
We have been very lucky to be close to the City’s Epping Forest team in Warren Lodge but are seeing this change as an opportunity to help deliver our strategy, drive more engagement with the general public, ideally staying close to the Forest and being closer to public transport.
And we now need all of your eyes and ears and help to optimise this opportunity.
Please let Peter know if you have any ideas about potential premises. What we are looking for is:
- Ideally a shop window property on one of the Forest “high streets”, near or on the way to the Forest from public transport: Station road in Chingford, for example, or “high streets” in Loughton, Wanstead or Manor Park
- At least 4 desk spaces
- Access to kitchen, toilets, potentially meeting space
- Happy to share with suitable partner(s) – ideas please!
- Near public transport. Access to car parking. Safe cycle storage.
We are also keen to hear from anyone who would be able to help us with this move, whether in relation to helping manage the project itself, the property search, helping with the move itself or sorting through books or our archives.
