On 11th October 2025, we had our 2025 Annual General Meeting at Murray Hall, Loughton, followed by a panel discussion on Campaigning to Protect Epping Forest over the ages.
The panel was hosted by Rosie Perry-Gosling, our Vice Chair, with following speakers:
- Mark Gorman, EFHT Member, Author, Saving the People’s Forest
- Sue McKinley, EFHT Member, campaigner against roadbuilding in the 1970s – M16/M25
- Ishmael Tikly, EFHT Policy and Campaigns Manager. Current issues and campaigns include reducing the speed on Forest roads
- Noreen Niazi, Community Engagement Lead, EFHT staff member. Making Epping Forest Accessible to All
We heard fantastic stories and had insightful reflections on how the love for the Forest and the power of people coming together could have in creating a lasting impact in protecting the irreplaceable green spaces not just now, but also for future generations.
