Quoting our campaign message, Lord Sugar tweeted to his 5.2 million followers on Tuesday 29th March: “I #LoveEppingForest and really hope everyone signs up to show their love for this wonderful ancient forest too!”
In the meantime, London Wildlife Trust included our campaign message in their March email newsletter and asked their audience to share their love of the Forest and to speak with their councillors.
We also had the support from Crispin Truman OBE, Chief Executive at CPRE the Countryside Charity, who tweeted ‘I #LoveEppingForest because it’s countryside nearby, full of beauty, history, nature and you can get there easily on public transport’
